Draft version: 0.1 · Prepared October 16, 2026
1. Agreement and service
Book-It! provides online scheduling and related business-management features for subscribing businesses. By registering, accepting these Terms, or using the service, the business and its authorized users agree to these Terms. The person registering represents that they are authorized to act for the business.
2. Business accounts and authorized users
Each subscribing business is responsible for the accuracy of its registration information, the activities conducted through its account, and managing access for its personnel. Book-It! currently uses Manager and Staff roles. Users must maintain confidential credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. A separate primary manager may receive a password-setup invitation that expires after 72 hours; a Manager may resend an expired invitation from the Staff List.
3. Subscription pricing
The subscription is $35 per month for the first location and $25 per month for each additional location. The subscription covers the business and its selected number of locations, with the same available features at each location. Applicable taxes, if any, will be disclosed at checkout. Changes to pricing for future periods will be communicated in advance as required by law.
4. First month free and payment authorization
Each new business receives one free month beginning on its original registration date, regardless of the number of locations. A valid payment method is required at registration. Unless canceled before the first paid billing date, the subscription automatically becomes paid when the free month ends, and the business authorizes recurring monthly charges. Adding a location does not start or extend a free trial. Payment information is collected by a secure payment processor; Book-It! does not store full payment-card numbers.
5. Billing dates and location changes
Monthly renewal is anchored to the business registration date. For registrations on the 29th, 30th, or 31st, billing in shorter months occurs on the last day of that month. Locations added during the free month remain free until the first paid billing date. After the trial, additional locations are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period, followed by the regular monthly rate at renewal. Removing a location reduces the subscription amount beginning with the next renewal; no partial-period refund is issued solely for removing a location.
6. Cancellation and refunds
The business may cancel its subscription through the cancellation method made available in its account or by contacting Book-It! support. Cancellation stops future subscription renewals; access remains available through the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise stated during cancellation. Charges already incurred are generally nonrefundable, except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed by Book-It!. Cancellation during the free month before the first paid billing date avoids the first subscription charge. The cancellation process and support contact must be finalized before launch.
15. Failed payments and delinquent accounts
If a scheduled subscription payment cannot be completed for any reason, including cancellation of a payment arrangement through a third-party provider, an expired payment method, insufficient funds, or closure of a financial account, Book-It! will notify the business's designated Billing Contact by email. The business is responsible for maintaining valid payment information and resolving outstanding subscription charges. Billing and payment information may be updated through the business's account management interface. Continued failure to pay outstanding subscription charges may result in suspension or deactivation of the business's Book-It! service. Applicable notification periods, payment recovery procedures, and deactivation conditions will be established as part of the completed billing system and reflected in the Terms of Service before enforcement.
15. Business responsibilities and customer relationships
The subscribing business controls its scheduling policies, services, prices, staff, availability, cancellations, and communications with its customers. Book-It! is a software provider, not a party to transactions or agreements between a business and its customers. The business is responsible for complying with laws applicable to its operations and for providing any required notices and obtaining any required consents from customers and staff.
15. Data and privacy
The business is responsible for the accuracy and lawful collection of customer, staff, and scheduling information entered into Book-It!. Book-It! will process information to provide and maintain the service as described in its Privacy Policy. Data retention, export, deletion, processor arrangements, and privacy rights must be detailed in the finalized Privacy Policy and any applicable data-processing terms before launch.
15. Acceptable use and security
Users may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, or use it for unlawful purposes. Book-It! may take proportionate action to protect the service, users, and data, including suspending access where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
15. Availability and changes to the service
Book-It! aims to provide a reliable service but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, outages, third-party failures, and security incidents may affect access. Book-It! may improve or modify features, with notice of material changes when appropriate.
15. Intellectual property
Book-It! and its software, design, and related materials remain the property of their respective owners. The business retains its rights in the content and data it provides, subject to the rights needed for Book-It! to operate the service.
15. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or suitability for every business purpose. Any limitation of liability, exclusions of damages, exceptions, and monetary cap must be established in a legally reviewed final version. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Updates to these Terms
Book-It! may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in advance when required. The final service should record the version of the Terms accepted by each registering business, together with the date and time of acceptance.
15. Governing law, disputes, and contact
The appropriate contracting entity, legal mailing address, contact email, governing-law clause, and dispute-resolution provisions must be confirmed before these Terms are published for real customers.
